I am also an aspirant of CSS 2014, and need to take full guidance as its just a start.
My optional subjects are:

Journalism
Sociology
Phsycology
Punjabi
Business Administration

Could you guys please help me regarding my subject selection, if there is anything still not ok.

your selection is good for CE2014 if you are intrested in journalism then must go for journalism instead of mercantile law this is scoring.

Thanks for Feed back, I am really interested in Journalism than Mercantile law even my Family background is also related with journalism but i selected the mercantile law because of its short syllabus...but i think Journalism is much better than Mercantile law.

Salam all,

Im shahrukh from Lahore and by profession im a network engineer . InshAllah im going to take CSS exam in 2014.Following is my optional subjects combination.

Geography 200
Sociology 100
journalism 100
Punjabi 100
international Law 100

it would be great if we keep on sharing our thoughts and knowledge here. im doing job and cant join any academy. also i came to know from several senior members that its better not to join any academy rather do preparation from notes etc.

wish you best of luck and we must keep on coordination here with each other.
